Is An Easy 2 Step Process
Lip Blush Initial treatment

Hello youthful lips…The treatment begins with numbing the area as we chat colours and design. Once numb we then fill and shape your lips with a lip liner to ensure the lip shape is symmetrical and is your desired look, once you approve the design and colour we begin the tattooing. Expect some mild swelling post-treatment and a bright full coverage colour which will gradually soften after initial healing to look just like your lips did, only better. You’ll be provided with an after-care kit. We can even colour match your favourite lipstick/gloss so bring it along to your first appointment.
The Touch-Up

Your final appointment is 4-6 weeks after the initial appointment. This is a final perfection appointment to make any minor touch-ups that may be needed to due the lips flaking during the healing process. The touch-up appointment is essential so that your artist can ensure perfect results which will go on to last 2-3 years.

The price is inclusive of the second touch up appointment four – six weeks after the initial treatment and 2 x after care packs.
The cost is broken down into instalments as per below based on the $799 priced artist:
$100 deposit at the time of booking
$499 at the first treatment 2.5hrs
$200 at the touch up treatment 1.5hrs

What is Lip?
Lip Blush Tattoo is a semi-permanent treatment that enhances your natural lip colour and shape for a soft, tinted finish that looks effortlessly polished. Perfect for restoring faded pigment or defining your lip borders, this treatment delivers a subtle wash of colour that lasts 2–3 years—so you can wake up every day with naturally beautiful lips and zero effort.
How long will it last?
Cosmetic tattoo results vary from person to person, as a general guide, it usually lasts 12-24 months before requiring a colour refresh. The duration depends on your skin type, lifestyle and exposure to certain elements, which can cause the ink to fade faster than others. Guests with oiler skin, increased sun exposure, use of Retin A, Frequent skin treatments containing AHA’s and some medications will cause the area to fade faster, and in some cases prevent the hair strokes from staying at all. This will be determined at your Consultation. Some guests may need a small touch up at 6 months due to the above.
Can I go to work the next day?
Yes. The Procedure will not hinder you from going to work. However, there might be some swelling and tenderness & strict cleaning/after care is required so depending on the nature of your work it may be better to plan ahead.
Does it hurt?
Slightly, depending on the individual’s pain tolerance. Anaesthetics are used to numb the treatment area throughout the procedure to keep you comfortable. Slight discomfort may be experienced at the beginning of the treatment, but then is mostly painless throughout the rest of the treatment. Before your appointment – it is important to avoid alcohol & fish oil capsules, as these will thin the blood and effect the numbing cream.
How will it look straight after the treatment?
Immediately after Cosmetic Tattooing the colour will appear much darker or brighter than when the skin has healed in 7 to 14 day’s time. The colour will lighten up to 40%. The lips will look much more natural in appearance over the next 2 weeks with more of a soft wash of colour vs the initial bright lipstick look.
What do I need to do for aftercare?
We cannot stress enough how important it is to follow through with the aftercare 100% to achieve the ultimate result. You will be provided with an aftercare sheet with the clear instructions of what you will need to do. If it’s not listed on the aftercare sheet, do NOT do it.
I have a Special event coming up…..
It is recommended to have your initial and perfection appointment done prior to your special event, you should plan to have your initial booking 8-12 weeks before your occasion, to allow time for your touch up and healing.
Age requirement
You must be 18 or older to have Microblading tattooing.
Botox & Fillers
As these treatments can change the facial symmetry, avoid injectables 4 weeks prior and 4 weeks after your Microblading tattoo appointment.
The End Result & Contradictions
The end results will always vary for each individual person, some pencilling/powdering-in may still be needed in some cases. L&B Exclusive makes no guarantee to a guest’s end result, as we have no control over each guest’s unique skin type, structure, their healing process and aftercare commitment. This will be discussed further with you in your consultation. Should additional sessions be required, charge will apply accordingly.
Contradictions
- Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers
- Coldsores (past or present)
- Undergoing chemotherapy
- Problem skin and acne in the area to be treated
- Keratosis (dry, scaly skin patches caused by sun damage)
- Diabetes without a doctor’s clearance
- Sunburnt or windburned skin
- Certain medications, please discuss this with us
- High dose Blood thinning medications
- Some individuals with previous lip tattoo done elsewhere. This may require a removal process before new work can be done on the area.
